Getting Started

How does it work?

Choose your product, customise it in our online designer, then checkout. We print your design using premium DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing and ship it to you.

Do I need design skills?

Not at all. Our designer lets you upload images, add text, and use clipart. If you can drag and drop, you can design a shirt.

Can I see a preview before ordering?

Yes. The designer shows exactly how your finished product will look before you add it to cart.

Artwork & Files

Where can I find images to use?

For safe, legal images, we recommend royalty-free stock sites like Unsplash, Pexels, or Pixabay. Always check the licence allows commercial use. Read our Image Search Guide →

Can I use AI-generated images?

Generally, yes! Tools like DALL-E and Midjourney allow commercial use on paid plans. However, you must upscale them before printing to avoid pixelation. Read our AI Design Guide →

What file formats and settings do you need?

For the best print quality, use 300 DPI and save as PNG (for transparent backgrounds), JPG, or SVG (for logos and text). View our Artwork Settings Guide →

How do I remove the background from my image?

If you don’t have Photoshop, you can use free online tools like Adobe Express or Remove.bg to remove white backgrounds before uploading your file to our designer.

Pricing

How much does it cost?

Garment price varies by product and size. The print charge depends on how big your design is — the designer measures it automatically as you resize:

Maxi (~A3) Over 35cm $25

The tier is based on whichever side of your design is biggest (width or height). Resize smaller to lower the tier — it updates live in the designer.

Why does the price change with size?

Bigger designs use more film and ink. Each print area (front, back, sleeve) is a separate print charge. For example, a Standard front + Standard back = $18 + $18 = $36 for printing, plus the garment price.

Are there hidden fees?

No. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay, plus shipping.

Print Quality

What printing method do you use?

We use DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing. It produces vibrant, full-colour printz that are durable and soft to the touch.

How long will the print last?

With proper care (wash inside-out, cold wash, don’t tumble dry on high heat), your print will last the life of the garment.

What’s the print area size?

We have four print size tiers — the system measures your design automatically as you resize it on the canvas:

Spot (~A7) — up to 10cm. Think business card size. Great for chest logos and sleeve designs.

Mid (~A5) — up to 20cm. Think postcard size. Mid-size graphics and badges.

Standard (~A4) — up to 35cm. Think A4 page. Most front and back designs fit here.

Maxi (~A3) — over 35cm. Think A3 page. Full coverage designs.

The tier is based on whichever side of your design is biggest (width or height). Full front/back print zone is 35cm × 42cm.

We offer Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, 2XL, and 3XL in most styles.

Will the shirt shrink?

Our shirts are pre-shrunk, but we recommend following the care instructions to maintain the best fit.

What colours are available?

Available colours vary by product. Check the product page for the full colour range.

Legal & Copyright

Can I print copyrighted or trademarked images?

No. We cannot print owned characters (Disney, Marvel, Anime), band logos, or sports teams unless you have official permission. We respect intellectual property rights. Read our Copyright Education Guide →

What is “Fair Use”? Does it apply?

Fair use (or “fair dealing” in Australia) typically applies to news or education — not commercial products. Printing a character on a shirt to sell or wear usually does not qualify as fair use.

Who owns the rights to my design?

You retain full ownership of your original designs. We only use your design to print your specific order.

Delivery

How long does delivery take?

In-stock items: 3 business days

Made-to-order items: 5-7 business days

Do you ship Australia-wide?

Yes, we ship to all Australian addresses.

Can I track my order?

Yes. You’ll receive a tracking number via email once your order ships.

Returns & Refunds

What if there’s a problem with my order?

If we made a mistake (wrong size, print error, damaged item), we’ll reprint it at no charge. Just return the item to us — we cover the return postage.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

Because every item is custom-made to your design, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind. Please double-check your design and size before ordering.

Can I order just one shirt?

Yes! No minimum order. Order one or one hundred — same quality either way.

Designer Troubleshooting

Objects disappeared from my canvas — what happened?

This is usually caused by your browser’s cached data getting out of sync. To fix it:

Quick fix: Hard refresh the page (Ctrl+Shift+R on PC, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac).

Full fix: Clear site data — in Chrome, click the padlock icon in the address bar → “Site settings” → “Clear data”. Then reload the designer.

Your saved designs (via “Save to MyDesigns”) are stored on our server and won’t be affected by clearing site data.
